About Mr. P

I have been a Walnut Mustang most of my life. I attended Walnut High School beginning in 1989 and was part of the graduating class of 1993.  While at Walnut I played football for 4 years and also threw the shot put and discus on the track team.

After graduating Walnut I attended Cal State University at Fullerton where I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in History.  After my time there I attended Chapman University where I earned my Teaching Credential and Master of Arts degree in Teaching.  I am also pursuing a Masters in Coaching and Athletic Administration at Concordia University.

This will be my 11th year teaching at W.H.S. and my football coaching experience spans 18 years. 4 at St. John Bosco High School, the past 12 seasons here at W.H.S and currently 2 seasons at Bishop Amat.  At Walnut I teach U.S. History, World History, and Economics.  I also served as the Throws coach for the track and field team for the past 12 years.

Having gone through my high school years at Walnut make me feel very honored to have an opportunity to give back to the community that gave me so much.  I love to teach and I love to coach and I am blessed to do what I love in a place where I love to be.  I AM PROUD TO BE A MUSTANG!!!
